NEuro imaging

Cross-sectional diagnostic imaging by CT and MRI have revolutionized neurological diagnostics by high resolution imaging of the brain. Particularly modern MRI enables high-resolution, three-dimensional imaging of the brain and nerves in order to identify vascular dilation (aneurysms) and constriction (stenoses) by MR angiography before the development of most often critical neurological symptoms. In the diagnostic of neurological disorders MRI can depict the cause such as inflammation, infarction, scars or masses.

MRI of tumor

MRI with the depiction of a benign meningioma.

MRI of aneurym

A large aneurysm of the basal artery can be seen in this patient with head ache.

3D-MR-Angiography

In this 3D Reconstruction the heart shaped aneurysm can be seen. Imaging by MRI is the key method to diagnose the aneurysm as well as to plan possible therapies.
